Recycling Lives held its first pre opening tour on Friday ahead of an official opening early in the New Year. With little more than a month of work left until the centre is complete key partners and interested parties were invited to have a look around the centre ahead of completion. Invitees got the opportunity to network with other partners to the project and discuss how everyone will work together to help in Recycling Lives to achieve its overall mission of reducing worklessness, reducing homelessness and actively supporting and inspiring true social entrepreneurialism.
The event began with an opening from Charles Jackson, Recycling Lives Chief Executive Officer, this was followed by a presentation explaining the projects more intricate details where Steven Jackson, Recycling Lives Founder and Chairman narrated a full explanation of the concept and more importantly how it was going to work. Finally guests were taken on a guided tour of the building to give an insight into where things will happen and to provide additional detail to why things have been located in the why they have.
This event will be the first in a line of pre opening tours where different stakeholder groups will be invited to see the facility and gain additional understanding of the project and all that it stands for. It also gives information on how it will work and integrate with the various people involved with the project.
