In the current economic climate things are difficult and everybody is feeling the effects of the global slowdown in the economy. People and organisations alike are having to make sure that they are operating in the most cost effective and efficient way. Recycling Lives is no different to any other organisation and is too having to plan its route carefully through this period of fiscal turbulence. Recycling Lives has a reliance on the global metal markets and a core part of its activities revolves around the trading in and out of both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Metal prices over the past two months have experienced a record slump, prices are at extreme lows and buyers are scarce.
In an effort to ensure Recycling Lives sustainability and survival through these times we are doing everything in our power to secure the business and its employees. Our commercial presence has been increased to assist in bringing in additional business. Many employees are moving around the organisation to lend a hand to the areas which need it most. All staff have been spoken to by managers and directors about the situation and the plan to get through it and are fully supportive of any measures which are being taken to keep the organisation moving in the right direction. Never before has working as a team and rallying together been as important as now.
Recycling Lives directors and managers applaud the efforts of its entire staff. Times are hard and we will come though this together, as a team.
