Recycling Lives provide quality en-suite accommodation and a comfortable environment in which to live and socialise. We offer food and clothing and pastoral care to enable a variety of differing people to adjust and to feel at home. We encourage life skills and integration and we help people to believe in themselves and in others.
At Recycling Lives we enable our residents and employees to become the inspiration to newcomers to our way of life, because there is no better inspiration to a person in need than people that have ‘been there’ themselves. This method of inspiration extends into every aspect of Recycling Lives, from a resident entering into a new stage in their life to new business start ups that will find themselves in the company of established commercial veterans.
Recycling Lives offers a wide range of jobs to suit everyone within our established recycling business and opportunities to develop skills and qualifications are constantly available. Jobs range from low skilled activities such as separating green glass from clear, to operating machinery and managing people. We also encourage new businesses occupying our incubator units, to recruit Recycling Lives residents whenever a suitable candidate exists to fill a job vacancy. This expands the vocational opportunities outside of recycling and into a multitude of differing roles.
